What was the Non-cooperation Movement?

The Non-cooperation Movement (Asahayog Andolan) was a major event in the Indian struggle for independence. This movement started in 1920 and lasted through 1922. Under Mahatma Gandhi’s leadership, it aimed to get rid of British rule through non-violence (ahinsa).
