When the day that immediately

precedes the holiday is considered a

non-working day or the scheduled rest

day of the employee, he or she cannot

be on a leave of absence on that day,

in which case he or she shall be

entitled to the holiday pay if he or she

worked on the day immediately

preceding the non-working day or rest

day.
