is the reference of the sentences which makes the text cohesive and coherent. It serves the purpose of studying the discursive devises such an ellipsis, repetition, anaphora.
Textual function
Likewise, it focuses on the effectiveness of the stylistic properties of the texts to determine their suitability to the perceived meaning and contribution to overall interpretation.
